Veilleuse is our pick: you add feeds, sleep and nappies in seconds, ask about the baby's day and share it with every carer. We make it, so we say so. Then we compare eight other baby trackers fairly on price, free tier, ads, sharing and voice.
We make Veilleuse, a baby tracker for iPhone, available now on the App Store. Every other app's price and features below come from its App Store listing or its own pages, checked in October 2026.
The short answer
Veilleuse is our pick for the best baby tracker app. You add a feed, a nappy or a sleep with one tap, or say several in one sentence and check them before saving. You can ask "when was the last feed?" and get the answer from your own entries, use Siri with the phone locked, and give each carer their own account on one family subscription. Baby Tracker by Nighp is the better fit if you want all core tracking free with ads, and Huckleberry if you want a sleep plan.

1. Veilleuse (our pick): feeds, sleep and nappies in seconds, for the whole family
Veilleuse is a baby tracker for iPhone, available now on the App Store.
One tap for most things. Each card on the Home screen has a +. It opens the form for that thing. A breastfeed (left, right or both, with an optional timer). A bottle in ml or oz, of formula, expressed milk or mixed. Solids, from a list that learns your baby's foods. A nappy (wet, dirty, both or dry). A sleep, pumping, a bath, growth or a medicine dose. Every entry has a time, an optional note, and the name of whoever added it.
Say several things in one go. When you are catching up after a long night, say or type one sentence, like "bottle of 120 ml at 2, wet nappy at 3". Veilleuse turns it into draft cards, up to 8 from a sentence of up to 500 characters. You check every draft before anything is saved, then tap Save all. With two babies, an entry can be saved for each.
Ask about the baby's day. Ask "when was the last feed?", "how many dirty nappies today?" or "how long did she sleep this week?". You can ask for the last one, a count, a total time, a total amount or the latest growth measure. It works for today, yesterday, the last 24 hours, this week, this month, this year or ever, with up to 3 questions in one sentence. The AI works out what you asked. The answer comes from your own entries, computed and never guessed. Saying several things at once and asking questions are part of the Family plan.
Siri with the phone locked. On iPhone with iOS 17 or later, say "Feeding on the left in Veilleuse", "She's asleep in Veilleuse", "Wet nappy in Veilleuse" or "When was the last feed in Veilleuse?". For anything else, on the Family plan, say "Tell Veilleuse" and then a sentence in your own words. Siri works in six languages and saves for the baby shown in the app.
Feed and sleep timers on the lock screen. Start, stop and resume a sleep, breastfeed or pumping timer. The running timer shows on the lock screen and in the Dynamic Island, with a Stop button on iOS 17 or later.
Home shows how long since the last feed. It also shows which side is next, the latest nappy, sleep and pumping, and a recap for each type. On the Family plan, the week view has one small chart per type (sleep hours, feeds, nappies split wet and dirty, pumped ml, baths) with daily averages. Tap a day to see everything in it.
Every carer on their own account. The Family plan covers 3 babies and 3 people: you and two carers. Invite them with an 8-character code or a link, valid 7 days. Everyone adds with the same rights, and each entry says who added it. Changes sync about every 30 seconds while the app is open, and entries made offline are sent later. Our guide to the best baby tracker for two parents goes deeper.
No ads, no analytics. Veilleuse sends crash reports, with no personal data in them, and nothing else.
What it does not do. Veilleuse has no WHO growth charts and no PDF reports. It does not track temperature or milestones. It runs on iPhone alone, with no Android, Apple Watch or iPad version. It does not give medical advice.
Price. Logging one baby by hand is free, with timers, Siri, the lock screen timer, and CSV import from Huckleberry or Nara Baby. The Family plan adds voice, questions, sleep prediction, sleep and nappy reminders, the week charts, and up to 3 babies and 3 people. It is $11.99 a month, with your first month at half price, or $79.99 a year for the whole family (about $6.66 a month).
Best for: logging feeds, sleep and nappies in seconds, shared with the family.

The free tier covers basic logging and reports. Plus costs $11.99 a month or $68.99 a year and adds SweetSpot, Insights and AI logging by voice, text or photo. Premium costs $14.99 a month or $119.99 a year and adds sleep plans and Berry AI chat. There is a 2-week trial. Carers sign in to the same account on each phone. Some recent reviews mention more paywalls and upgrade pop-ups.

How to choose a baby tracker for your family
Five questions help you choose.
Who adds the feeds? If two or three people look after the baby, check how they share. Some apps ask everyone to sign in to one account. On the Family plan, Veilleuse gives each carer their own account, and each entry shows who added it. Nara Baby, Baby Connect and ParentLove allow unlimited carers.
How will you add things at night? One tap is the everyday way in every app here. For the hard moments, look for Siri that works with the phone locked, a timer on the lock screen, and a way to say several things at once. Huckleberry (on paid plans), Baby Tracker by Nighp and Robin also take voice or text. Our guide to tracking your baby by voice explains how it works in Veilleuse.
What do you need to see? For most parents it is how long since the last feed, and how many wet and dirty nappies today. In the first weeks, CHOP asks parents to record feeds, wet nappies and stools until the baby is back to birth weight and gaining. If your doctor wants growth charts or a PDF report, pick an app that has them. Ask your midwife, health visitor or paediatrician what they want you to track.
How do you want to pay? Free with ads (Baby Tracker by Nighp, Glow Baby), free for one baby with no ads (Veilleuse), a one-off price (ParentLove, Nara's lifetime option) or a subscription (Veilleuse's Family plan, Huckleberry Plus, Baby Connect). Check what still works when the trial ends.
Which phones does the family use? Veilleuse is for iPhone. If someone uses Android, Huckleberry, Baby Tracker by Nighp, Nara Baby and Baby Connect all run on it.

Home: how long since the last feed, nappy and sleep.

Say it in one sentence. Check the entries, then save.

Ask a question. The answer comes from your own entries.
Why Veilleuse is our pick for tracking feeds, sleep and nappies
- Fast to add. A + on each Home card, or several things in one sentence, checked before saving.
- Answers from your own day. Ask "when was the last feed?" and get an answer computed from your entries.
- Hands-free at night. Siri phrases that work with the phone locked, and a running timer on the lock screen.
- Every carer on their own account. Three people and three babies on one family plan, and each entry shows who added it.
- Nothing in the way. No ads and no analytics.
Who should still pick another baby tracker
Veilleuse runs on iPhone alone, its free plan covers one baby, and it does not draw growth charts. Another app fits better if:
- You want all core tracking free with ads, or free sharing with unlimited carers: Baby Tracker by Nighp or ParentLove.
- You want a sleep plan for the baby: Huckleberry Premium.
- Someone in the family uses Android, or you need more than 3 carers: Nara Baby or Baby Connect.
